Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") form a binding agreement between you and ScanFix, governing your access to and use of our products, sites, and services. By using ScanFix, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account, starting a subscription, or using the Service, you confirm you have read, understand, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Service description
ScanFix provides AI-assisted code analysis, security and quality checks, reports, and related developer tooling (the "Service"). We may add, modify, or remove features from time to time.
3. Accounts & eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and all activity under your account.
- You must provide accurate account, billing, and contact information.
4. Repository access & code handling
- You authorize ScanFix to access repositories you explicitly select for analysis.
- Code is cloned temporarily for analysis in isolated environments and deleted when scans complete; findings and metadata may be retained.
- You are responsible for ensuring your sharing of repository data complies with your policies and applicable law.
5. Acceptable use
- No unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent activity.
- No attempting to breach or circumvent security or rate limits.
- No reverse engineering, copying, or building a competing service using confidential aspects of ScanFix.
- No uploading malicious code, secrets, or data you lack rights to share.
6. Subscriptions, fees, and refunds
- Paid tiers are billed in advance per the plan shown at checkout.
- Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise.
- We may suspend or downgrade the Service for overdue invoices.
- Taxes may apply and are your responsibility unless stated otherwise.
7. Intellectual property
- ScanFix and its licensors retain all rights to the Service, software, and brand assets.
- You retain all rights to your code and content. Providing access for analysis does not transfer ownership.
- Feedback may be used to improve ScanFix without obligation to you.
8. Confidentiality & data protection
Each party will protect the other party's confidential information with reasonable care and use it only to perform under these Terms. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the risk. No service is 100% secure; promptly notify us of any suspected vulnerability or incident at security@scanfix.ai.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScanFix will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the fees you paid to us for the Service in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Indemnification
You will indemnify and hold harmless ScanFix and its affiliates from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms.
13. Suspension & termination
- You may cancel at any time; cancellation ends future billing but does not refund past charges.
- We may suspend or terminate access for breach, non-payment, legal risk, or security concerns.
- Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete associated data per our retention policy.
14. Changes to the service or terms
We may update the Service or these Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
15. Governing law & venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. The courts located in Delaware will have exclusive jurisdiction, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
